Laura and Zach were in town for some wedding planning, so we got together to hang out at Union Station. Can’t wait for their wedding this summer!

After the ceremony at one of KC’s most beautiful churches (Visitation Parish), everyone headed down the road to Morgan’s mom and dad’s house for a reception under the stars…in a clear-roofed tent! Catering and event planning was all orchestrated by the talented folks at Webster House.

A couple days after she was born, I got to spend some more time with sweet little H. She was so, so good…especially when dad turned on the vacuum.
I’ve been wanting to document a birth for a while. After a recent (incredible) workshop experience, I knew I was ready. After coaching my wife through her three births, I already knew that the emotion present at a baby’s welcoming is pretty much unrivaled.
Jessie and Chris were kind and open enough to allow me to accompany them as they gave birth for the first time. I’ll let the images do the rest of the talking.
